Being ghosted by the man he loves is the least of the Elven Prince’s worries now that Reed awoke in the dungeon with an altered appearance and an inclination for murdering servants to slake his ravenous blood lust.

     As a consequence of Prince Reed’s predicament, his mentor, the cunning man Tullot, is held responsible and faces execution.  When Tullot  is found incapable of defending himself, Reed sets out to prove Tullot’s innocence, but when Reed’s blood lust proves him a threat to the fae, he’s banished to the human realm.   Left with no other alternative, Reed must enlist the help of Cernn, the warrior who broke his heart and trust that he’ll care enough to lead a group of misfits in search of the true perpetrators while Reed investigates within the supernatural underworld of New York City.

    Banished to the human realm, Reed must rely on one of his attackers to help him navigate his new un-life as a Blood Elf and learn to control his murderous impulses if he ever wants to return home and possibly have a future with the man he loves.  That task proves difficult when he finds himself caught up in a supernatural power struggle that threatens both his kingdom and the vampire hierarchy. 

Used as a pawn in a game he doesn’t understand, he’s subjected to manipulations, lies and hidden agendas.  If he wants to survive, Reed needs to find his strength and figure out who to trust, who to love and who to kill.
